Remember how I was doing the Biggest Loser thing at work? Well, it's been just over a year since that started and I've lost a total of 60 pounds to date. :-)
I want to lose about 15-20 pounds from where I am currently at. Which shouldn't be too difficult.
I decided I would share some pictures with you behind the cut. I did a before/after collage as well as some shots of me in my new dress I wore out to dinner last night.

For those wondering how I did it... Well, I didn't follow any of the diet plans that are out there. I did my own thing.
The first thing I did was looked at what I was eating. I stopped eating fast food every day for lunch. I'm talking things like big chicken finger dinners from Sonic (with soda), fish dinners (fried/greasy) from Captain D's, burgers, etc. I started taking my lunch to work. Things like soup, TV dinners that Weight Watchers put out like Smart Ones Pizza Minis. I lost 5 pounds the first week with just that.
Then I started drinking water. Lots and lots of water.
I also started eating more a day, but watching the calorie count. I would have apple sauce in the morning, then lunch, then more apple sauce in the afternoon and then dinner. Mix things like carrots, etc.
I didn't really change my dinner habits. Just watched the calories a bit more. I also cut out a lot of snacking I found myself at night while at the computer. Things like bags of chips and such.
I still eat desserts (had something called a boat sinker last night... death by chocolate) and pies and things. Just watch it and don't over indulge.
Then I started exercising. I got a gym membership for a year. I did cardio mixed with weight training. Cardio was every day 35-40 minutes on the elliptical or treadmill. Weight training was every other day and I followed a routine I set up with the free training session I got when I joined the gym.
This May, I dropped my gym membership and now I walk. I walk at least 2 miles almost every day. Sometimes a bit more. And I haven't had a soda since January. :-)
So that's how I did it and now I'm maintaining / losing a pound or so a week.
