I've heard around the friends list that
ncis_awards is running low on noms this year. Let's help them out and go nominate some fics.

The RULES (because any NCIS fan knows that there are rules...)
I think the nomination period ends around May 30th... so get busy. I still need to do mine.
If your stuck on ideas, check out
ncisficfind for recs or the NCIS section of
crack_van. Just remember that winners from 2009 are not eligible.

Title: One He Gained and One He Didn't Want
Rating: FR13
Summary: Gibbs' medal collection is significantly smaller than Tony's but special all the same.
Note: This a loosely tied to my previous story, Four He Gained and One He Lost, but you don't necessarily have to read it to follow this story.
And congrats to everyone else who won because there were some awesome fics in the running!!

First, thanks to those who nominated a few of my fics for the LJ
ncis_awards that just went into voting the other day.

( See what I was nominated for behind the cut... )
Next, I figured out a way to randomize my banners! That means I can add more banners and they just randomly appear each time you load the page. I've got a few more to go with my NCIS banner already and I'm thinking of making a few more NCIS ones. Gotta love code that lets you do fun things. :-)
Go check them out on my LJ at
kaylashay81!
My next challenge will be manipulating the layout here on Dreamwidth to get it the way I want it using my new banners. I like being able to have 'x' number of banners that switch out. :-)

The Crossing Over Awards was created to recognise the best BtVS and AtS crossover fan fiction available on the Internet, and, if it's the best crossover fan fiction, then, by definition, it must be posted on the best crossover fan fiction site, and the members of said site must make up the most qualified judging panel. Therefore, the nominations and voting for the awards are limited to Twisting the Hellmouth members, with some additional awards made by the site moderators. In the 2007 awards, 1255 members cast a total of 27331 votes.
2007 Awards
You can see the results from the 2007 awards on the Winners page. Special congratulations to the winner of our Best Crossover Award, "Return to Normal" by Jakl, and the runners up, "Going home through a Starry Mirror" by theICEBear and "The Key To Marauding" by Anoron. The award for Best Crossover Author goes to Sevangel.

Congratulations to all our winners - we hereby declare January to be an official month of gloating at thelosers deserving runners up. If you want to gloat humbly accept your award, head on over to the I would like to thank... forum. However, please note anyone who bursts into tears mid-speech will find themselves being handed a mop and bucket and asked to clean the floor.
( Cut for my personal thanks... )
