I've lost 12lbs since I started eating better and working out!!

I have wimpy triceps. That's the only weight device thingy that kills me to do it.

I had lunch with Granny (my dad's mom) and one of my multitudes of cousins today.

Granny was in visiting because a great uncle of mine passed away.

I've written 10,100 words for my Letters to Home series and there is still more to come.

I'm having issues writing my ncis_ficathon fic because of the prompts I received... *sigh* Thanks to triskellion I redirected my misguided bunny and now have 700 words with quite a bit more to go! And I'm liking it! Yay!

Being called Ziva is a bad thing at our office. It translates to slut. There's a story behind that.

I got ticked again at Ziva while watching 05x02 Family because she could dish it out to Tony but couldn't take it in return.

The reason why the iPod is slowly coming back to life is because I dropped it in a toilet at the workout place. Yes, a toilet. *heavy sigh* at least it was a clean toilet

First off... Happy 4th of July to all the US of A people running around out there. Hopefully your 4th isn't as wet as mine is.

The family decided to have the lake picnic / fireworks tomorrow evening, so luckily we're not getting rained out. However, I was out fishing with my mom, grandma, aunt and niece when the sky opened up and down came the rain.

I got drenched. Majorly drenched.

Before the fishing adventure though, I had another moment. I guess the upside is it wasn't in the bathroom this time.

I was driving from my parents house to my grandma's house (only a few minutes drive) when I felt something sting my throat. I reached up to swat / brush it away and I managed to brush it right down my shirt. Now I'm going 55 mph, stung once and the live bee thing down my shirt and stuck in my bra. *head desk*

I managed to get the thing out of my bra, only to have it sting my stomach area just below. Finally I came to a spot where I could pull over. So I jumped out of the car and did the "get the bee out of my shirt" dance. Don't know what happened to it, but it was gone and I've got two sting spots.

Anyway, happy 4th, enjoy the fireworks and I hope to finish the next in the letter series tonight. :-)

Oh, my 2 1/2 year old niece wants to say something:

Well, I went, I saw, I didn't get any sleep... But it was worth it. The stars were awesome and below you will learn of all the excitement and misadventure that occurred.

I'm at the family's place for Memorial Day weekend. My niece is a little Shirly Temple, curls and all.

Got sunburned while fishing yesterday. Ouchie.

Of Doctors...

I'm off to see an allergist and have all sorts of "what are you allergic" test run. Yay! I'm thinking the list of what I'm not allergic to would be easier to compile. In other news, my mom went to the hospital the other day and found out she had a bad infection... she got medicine to make it better. This morning she called and had just taken my dad to the emergency room. He cut his foot with a saw. Several stitches and a tetnus shot that supposedly was worse than the saw cut and he's doing okay. I'm not sure now if I want to go to my appointment.

Yeah. So that last post saying I was alive might have been a lie.

Some family issues later (involving lots o' driving for me in the past week) and now (almost) life is back to normal. I'm still at my parents house one more night and then it's back to my apartment (oh how I missed thee).

I've got several manip ideas upcoming to get a jump start back into the fanart/fanfic world and some plot bunnies to boot.
