Customizing my Dreamwidth

I've been playing on my layout and have gotten it to something I kinda like.

I still need to make an extended background on my header image so that it doesn't just cut off after Abby. But I'll have to do that on my old computer and I don't feel like turning it on at the moment.

Then I need to figure out why all my other icons didn't transfer over. I miss my NCIS icons. *pouts*

  There was something in one of the recent updates about icons *looking* like they didn't transfer, but if you wait a bit, they show up. Don't know if that's the problem you're having or not.

    That was one part of my issue, but there was something else too.
    
    I've been chatting with them on it and I'm trying the icon import again. I may have to do a re-import of everything later to see if I can get the icons to match up right in my old post. But I'm going to wait on that until they announce another little import bug is fixed.

        Yeah... I tried to re-import the icons like they asked and it still failed. Only brought over 65 of them. Guess I'll have to wait and see.

  Odd question - do you know how to get a header (like the one on my LJ) to work on my DW?

    I did mine through custom CSS. I'm not sure that there's any other way to do it right now.
    
    You're using the same theme I am here at DW, so I should be able to give you CSS to use if you can access the custom CSS.
