Summary: Three different times the lights have gone out on Tony...

“What is it this time DiNozzo?” Gibbs questioned as he watched the younger man make his way down the staircase into the basement.

“The electricity went out. Landlord said the transformer blew and it would be two days, maybe three before they get the new one in.”

“What did all the other tenants have to say to the landlord about that?”

“Well,” Tony said with a grimace, “after he offered to put them up in hotel rooms for the duration, they didn’t complain. But that means he has no place to stay.”

“Door’s always open and the bourbon’s over there.”

“This’ll be just like camp, only without the mosquitoes and cute counselors!” Abby said excitedly as she bounced on the couch next to Tony.

“I don’t count as a cute counselor? I’m offended Camper Sciuto,” Tony said with a smile as he lit another candle in the darkened apartment.

“Nope. You’re the rich boy all the blonds are fighting over while they don’t notice the black haired Goth chick stealing him out from under them.”

“And what does the black haired Goth chick have in mind for the rich boy?”

“What else can you do when the power is out?”

“Admit it Probie, you’re scared of the dark.”

“I am not scared of the dark Tony. Just… Have you ever been stuck in this thing when the power’s gone out before?”

“Once,” Tony said as he face took on a reminiscent look. “With Gibbs. No coffee.”

“And you lived?” McGee asked incredulously.

“Yeah,” Tony said, “found a way to keep us entertained.”

“What do you mean?”

“I don’t get stuck in elevators and tell McGee. It’s, how do you say, uncouth.”

“You’re joking.”

“Just ask Abby,” Tony said as he placed a hand on McGee’s knee. “She was there too.”
