Friend away...
Hawk posted a new chapter of that story almost every night. I was a keeper!addict. Several of us had a support group going in comments. I couldn't go to sleep until I read the new chapter for the night.
I kinda lost track of how massive it was since I read it as she posted it (once I caught up because I came in about 30-40 chapters into it).
I need to update a list of recommendations I have for people to read. There's also this original series called The Slave Breakers on LJ that I read, love and have even written two fics for. It's the only thing I've actually had permission from the creator/author to post. Kinda daunting writing when you know the creator of the characters is going to read it.
