Challenge: As seen from
taylorgibbs and
lil_jei... (1) Pick a character, pairing, or fandom you like. (2) Turn on your music player and put it on random/shuffle. (3) Write a drabble/ficlet related to each song that plays. You only have the time frame of the song to finish the drabble; you start when the song starts, and stop when it's over. No lingering afterwards! (4) Do ten of these, then post them.
Summary: Ten different looks at the relationship between Gibbs and Tony using songs for inspiration.
Bad Moon Rising by Creedance Clearwater Revival (2:20 min)
Tony looked up to see the moon move from behind a cloud just before he was knocked to the ground by a hard force. He tucked and tumbled instinctively until he could roll back into a crouching position. Looking around with drawn gun, he saw the last thing he expected.
A wolf, a wolf with piercing blue eyes, was staring back at him. The wolf's head was cocked to the side and it gave a little yip.
"Damn it, Boss," Tony said softly so as not startle the wolf. "Why didn't you tell me you were a shifter?"
Skull And Crossbones by Klaus Badelt (3:26 min)
Captain OneShot Tibbs tossed his newly acquired ship's boy into the bed in his quarters. The boy was a little older than he normally would have preferred, but something about the green eyes made him wonder if he was going soft.
The kid was definitely of an upper class upbringing and he had put up a struggle until Tibbs had tied his hands behind his back. Then the fight had gone out of him and he just watched every movement around him.
"Get on ye're knees, boy," and Tibbs was pleased when the boy responded. He was going to enjoy this one...
Tony jumped when he heard his name paged. Being at sea was warping his mind.
Beep Beep (The Little Nash Rambler) by Playmates (2:47 min)
Gibbs slammed on the brakes and stared at DiNozzo.
Throwing the parking brake, he grabbed the other man and drug him across the seats.
"Boss!" was the only thing that squeaked out of Tony's mouth before Gibbs covered it with his own.
It didn't take long for Gibbs to expose both of their cocks and start jacking them together while still kissing Tony.
Tony was bucking and Gibbs was close behind him. Then Tony's ass hit the horn in one long beep just as they both came with a shout.
Amazing by Lonestar (3:59 min)
Tony laid back in the bed and ran a hand along Gibbs' pliant body. He couldn't believe they had made it this far. He never even thought that Gibbs liked him, let alone loved him. Now he knew better.
Tony had never been in love before. He knew that. It probably stemmed from some childhood trauma of a distant father and a dead mother, but it still was a fact that Tony didn't do love.
Then Gibbs came along. He would touch Tony, hold him and make him feel like the most special person in the world. He knew exactly when to be there and when to back off and give Tony the space he sometimes needed.
Tony was ready to spend the rest of his life with this man. Every little thing that he did just made Tony love him all that much more.
"You're an amazing man, Leroy Jethro Gibbs. Amazing," he whispered into the warm skin.
Standing Outside the Fire by Garth Brooks (3:52 min)
Tony had always believed he was weak although he presented a different front to the world around him. His father had torn down his defenses early in life and he had never rebuilt them properly.
Then he met Gibbs over a body in Baltimore. He found himself striving to do his best, to show he was made of tough stuff, Marine material. He didn't want to be weak.
Gibbs appearantly bought it and got him signed on at NCIS. Then he was tossed into the deep end that was working with Gibbs. It was like a fire and if you weren't careful you would get burned.
Along the way, something happened, that weakness inside started to disappear. Gibbs made him believe in himself.
He found himself willing to even talk to his father after all these years and tell him... tell him he was strong and that he had done good.
Three Wooden Crosses by Randy Travis (3:22 min)
Gibbs sighed as he made the walk through the snow covered paths. It had been years for two of them and only one for the third, but the pain was still fresh.
He dropped to his knees and brushed the snow off the names so he could trace a glove covered hand over them.
Kelly... His daughter, his sunshine. She was taken so young. He never got to see what she would become.
Shannon... Vibrant red hair and a smile. His first love.
Then came the last name. Tony.
He couldn't understand how he had lost love again. But he had vowed to Tony that he would stay and help the others before he joined his family of three that had gone before him.
My Favorite Things by Julie Andrews (2:18 min)
His hair, his smile, his love of life and his love of movies. There's so many reasons I love him. Although he's a man, he is more like Shannon than any of my ex-wives. They had the same zest for life.
He makes me smile, even if I don't let him see it. He can sit so quietly in the basement as I work on the boat. Just giving me my space.
He's also a great cook. Makes this wonderful pasta sauce. I will always want seconds of that.
Just a few of my favorite things.
The Dance by Garth Brooks (3:41 min)
It was the night before the explosion. That was the night of our first and only kiss. He pushed me into the wall and I closed my eyes as he descended on me.
It was as hot and hard as I had always imagined it would be. His lips met mine and I knew it was right. I wanted to always belong to him. Our tongues dueled and then he plundered my mouth.
It lasted forever until we both need air.
But the case came first. So we parted and set up the surveillance, giving each other lingering looks.
Then he was blown to hell and back and didn't remember a thing.
If I could have changed it and not shared that kiss... well... I think I'll keep the memory to keep me warm at night.
Life's a Show from Buffy the Vampire Slayer (4:38 min)
We all play our parts. I'm the dumb one. I'm the one with the least amount of education and play the comic relief. It's what they expect. Everyone but Gibbs that is.
He knows what is really inside of me, but it is hard to let it shine through. He tells me over and over again as we are wrapped in bed at night that I can be myself. But I'm not sure if the others are ready for that. They wouldn't understand.
They had stability in their lives. Family, friends, siblings, parents who were always around. Not me.
Gibbs tells me they'll accept me for who I am, but I'm not a trusting person. It's hard.
Some days I wake up and it feels like I'm in hell while I'm trying to be what they expect. I do the song and dance and it becomes me. Those are the days that Gibbs really smacks me hard.
He is the one who reminds that I don't have try so hard. That I just need to live and the rest will fall into place.
If only I could believe him, but the hardest thing in this world is to live in it.
United Breaks Guitars by Dave Carroll (4:32 min)
"But it was my Mighty Mouse stapler, Boss!" Tony said petulantly. "They broke my stapler."
"Why'd the hell did you bring it anyway? Should have left it on your desk."
"You always say to be prepared, so I wanted to be prepared. You know, I should complain to them. They should be held responsible for it."
"You want to spend the next year bouncing from customer service rep to rep, be my guest. You won't get anywhere with 'em."
"But someone... I mean we can't let them get away with this. What if it was something more important next time? Some of Ducky's equipment?"
"Ducky wouldn't check it, DiNozzo. Drop it. It's been a long few days and I want to go home. You coming?"
Tony looked back down at his broken stapler and then at Gibbs with that familiar glint in his eyes.
"United can deal with me later. I'll let them see what a federal agent can do. In the meantime, let's get home and break in those new sheets I bought, instead."

I meant to comment on yours and I think I forgot to. I loved the Super Mario Brothers one... And White Christmas... :-)
There were a few songs I was glad didn't pop up on mine. They would have been hard to do or gotten toooo sappy. :-)
You ARE going to write a wolfie story--a longer one, right?? And the crosses KILLED me!!!
Hee! Had to have a wolf for that song. Couldn't not have a wolf. I'll have to think on it.
And I'm jealous of your snow... well... of the fact there is snow. I could probably skip the obscene amount. And no ice. Ice bad.
:-)
The first one? There needs to be still more blue-eyed wolves in this fandom! :-D
The second one? OMG, Tony writes fanfiction! I love it! XD
Three wooden crosses and the Dance breaks my heart! *sniffles*
Life's a show - god. That's just... that's just the show we're watching, isn't it? So depressing! :-(
And finishing off with a laugh - OMG, United broke Tony's Mighty Mouse stapler! *psst, Tony, enlist Abby to help you extract revenge...* ;-)
Wonderful stuff!
And of course Tony writes fanfiction! He's a naughty boy, he is! *chuckles*
"Three Wooden Crosses" made me sniffle. *pets poor Gibbs*
Loved them all what can I say
And the first...of course Gibbs in wolf form is going to tumble Tony. XDD
Thank you!
