Summary: The new body she now possessed gave her a world of possibilities.
Shenzi reveled in the feel of her new body. It was young and had a strength lurking just beneath the surface. The senses weren't what she was used to, but they were growing with each passing moment. Smells and tastes she had never imagined before were filtering through her consciousness, particularly the smell of the females that surround her new host.
The red head did not hold her attention for long. The mane of hair reminded her too much of those that had promised her the good life only to have it ripped away. She inhaled deeply at the reminder of sinking her teeth into Scar's flesh. It was then that a smell stronger than anything she had felt before consumed her senses.
Turning, she saw the blond mane of the one called Buffy. This girl was strong and Shenzi could feel the stirrings within the male body she inhabited. The blond would make a good mate. With a male body, Shenzi needed a female of the species to carry on the pack. With such a strong breeder, Shenzi could return to her native lands and reclaim what she had lost with the fall of Scar.
But before she could act on anything, she needed to establish her dominance with the pack members. Before the magic had granted them access to their new bodies, she had been in charge of the meager pack. Now, they were going through experiences much like her own and their hosts already had a strong bond that her host did not share.
It wouldn't take long for her to take control and once she did, she would make her move on the blond breeder. Licking her lips, she joined her pack. Sniffing the air, she scented the smell of live meat and led the way.
