Sometimes it's ok to pimp yourself out. Post a list of your top five fic-favorites you've written, regardless of fandom or the reason you love them. This isn't about the BEST things you've written, but what you LOVE most. Then tag five other people to do the same.

I gotta say, this was really hard to narrow it down to five. The more I thought about some, the more I debated. I probably should have cheated and bumped it up to 10, but I didn't.

1. A Hundred Moments (FR13; NCIS)
   Summary: Hundreds of moments can happen in the blink of an eye.
   Why I Like It: It's the longest fic I've ever written, yet it was written for the ncisdrabble100 community. I wrote a 100 word paragraph for each past challenge to celebrate the 100th challenge in the community and every paragraph had the 'hundred' theme too. I felt a sense of accomplishment after I finished it that I haven't felt with any other story. I'm proud of the darn thing.


2. All About the Journey (FR15; Buffy the Vampire Slayer)
   Summary: Xander has experiences in Africa that will change the way he views life and death.
   Why I Like It: I wrote this over a lunch break at work while sitting in Fazolli's. I had seen the AIDS awareness banners on many website all day long and the idea struck me. I'm not aware of anyone I know having AIDS, but I still like to be aware of what is going on in the world whether it's AIDS, cancer or some other disease. I liked getting into Xander's head as to what he would think with just one harmless word on a piece of paper. Plus, I won some awards with it...


3. How Do You Solve A Problem Like DiNozzo? (FR15; NCIS)
   Summary: From the day he met him in Baltimore, Gibbs has been taking care of Tony one way or another. A Five Things fic.
   Why I Like It: I love Tony DiNozzo's character. I love the way Tony and Gibbs interact with each other. I can take those two as friends, family (father/son-ish), co-workers or lovers as long as the banter is there that I love to see on the show. You know they care for each other, it's just hard for them to show it out in the open. This fic let me walk the Tony/Gibbs dynamic in a non-slash way (although some, myself included, have seen pre-slash in it). I had to debate between this fic and several of my other Tony/Gibbs fics and even a Tony/McGee one to make the list and finally settled on this one. Plus, I love my title for this one and I always start humming the song from Sound of Music when I see it. I did that because Tony has a strong dislike for Sound of Music based on Hiatus when he threatened Ziva before she could sing a song from it.


4. Ideology for a Leader (FR13; Terminator/Buffy the Vampire Slayer)
   Summary: John Conner learns a lesson in leadership from a man known as Harris.
   Why I Like It: I wrote this before the Sarah Connor Chronicles existed because I always loved the idea of mixing Buffy with the Terminator world. I think Xander would be a good person for John to have around him. I really love this one, because it gave me the idea for a story that I have yet to write but still plan on doing one day that is outlined at 10 chapters long and will probably incorporate part of this story within it.


5. Taste the Rainbow (FR21; NCIS/Buffy the Vampire Slayer; Slash, Sex, Food!Play)
   Summary: Tony and Xander enjoy breakfast in bed before a cell phone rudely interrupts.
   Why I Like It: I love this fic for two reasons. The first reason is because this fic was all about first for me. It was my first written slash fic. It was my first NCIS fic. It was the first fic in my Navy Watcher series. It was my first time writing detailed sex. Lots of firsts. The second reason is because I brought my old favorite (Xander) together with my new favorite (Tony) and reconciled the fact that I was starting to like DiNozzo better than Xander (sorry Xander...). Plus, you can't go wrong with Skittles, Lucky Charms or a phone call from Gibbs.
