  Nice work! They're both blended into the background really well. And their skins tones aren't too different. I'd erase the text texture layer in areas when it goes over their faces though.

    I've had a mixed response on the text being on their faces. Some liked it and some didn't. I'm undecided still... (probably why the eye doctor hates me).
    
    I might revisit this one again sometime and try out some different text/parchment images too. I didn't spend very much time looking for some and pretty much went with the first one I found. Which ended up making me flip the text horizontal in some places to fill the space. Where's good Middle Aged parchment writing when you need it? :-)
