Chapter 81: I Could Have Missed the Pain

Author's Note: This artwork for my addition to the Tales of the Barman round robin. General idea is that Xander has opened a bar and various characters from different fandoms walk in and typically leave something behind.

  Interesting composition and characters. I'd increase the contrast on this art though.

    Thanks for the feedback... Yeah, I didn't pay attention to the loss of contrast on the "photographs" when I was trying to get the paper to show through. Then on Xander and Sam I ran into my little problem of making then tranparent to show the background through. My playing around can get carried away sometime.
    
    I actually had the fic idea first and partly written and then stopped and sped through making the art and then went back to finish the fic. Probably should have finished one and then the other, but that's that ADHD showing through or something like that. ;-)

        I'm a Photoshop girl.
        
        Been using it for 7 years now (since my freshman year of college). But I only recently (last month or two) started using for more art type piece than graphics and regular images for websites I do for work. So in a way, I've been reteaching myself alot of stuff I forgot about from college and finding new things I hadn't messed with before. It's fun to do and also not be confined to what a client wants and/or what they paid for through my job.

          That's cool. I find using photoshop for art versus graphic design really different! Recently I started using it to have a go at making logos, and I find - I'm so lost because I'm used to using filter/textures etc rather than drawing by mouse and shapes. :) Are you a graphic designer?
