I got adventurous today and decided to try my hand at creating my second ever fan video.

Title: The Lighthouse's Tale
Disclaimer: Do not own the clips used from the tv series Supernatural. Do not own the song used called "The Lighthouse's Tale" by Nickel Creek.

Summary: Dean is a lighthouse, guiding the ships at sea...

  I watched this at work this morning and thought it was absolutely beautiful. The only problem - which turns out to be not so little - is that my work computer doesn't have good speakers. So I really couldn't hear the song.
  
  So I'll listen to this song when I get home and have speakers to actually listen to. But I'm super happy/pleased about this video - it was great without sound - it will freakin' fantastic with sound!!

    I may send you a DVD with it on it cause you just have to watch it full screen like I can on my computer... I guess I could always save the full size quicktime file and send it to with a link or through chat... might take a bit to transfer, but it's worth it.

    I added a higher resolution link to download here. As long as you have quicktime, try the second download link out. It'll be much better than the youtube version. Plus, if it lets you, try viewing it in full screen. :-)

  That was absolutely stunning, Miss Kayla. I now have a new reason to be jealous of you. *winks* I liked how the same images repeated during the chorus and at the end. It tied everything together and gave it very nice flow. Thank you for sharing it with us!

    The repeat served two purposes, one, I wanted it to do that on the chorus, two, it saved me from having to figure out what other clips would fit there... Although, I did make it fade into different scenes during the musical interludes. That song and another one called The Fox are my favorite Nickel Creek songs. I'm in the process of making a higher res copy of it to see if it looks like the original on my computer.

    I'm glad you watched the high res one, cause the lower quality didn't do it justice. I wish I could easily the full size version from my computer, but it comes out just a tad to large on the file size... It's a beautiful song and I had been toying with the idea for a while. My first video was a BtVS Season Six centered one to the song Turn, Turn, Turn... I'll give you a link, but let's say I improved with the Supernatural one... ;-)
