Summary: Certain lines should never be crossed.
Tony threw the pillow across the room in an attempt to get the perfume scent still lingering in the air away from his sensitive nose. It didn't work.
"Did you know she finished off the last of my beer? And I could have sworn there was more pizza in the fridge."
Gibbs just grunted and that fueled Tony's anger.
"I get that you used her to cry foul on you with a confession from Shannon's mom. But- You're playing with fire Boss and I don't want to get burned."
"What're you saying, Tony?" and Gibbs voice had a tinge of insecurity that Tony never recalled hearing before.
"I'm saying that I know you have baggage. Hell, I let my baggage walk out of that hotel with a chunk of my own money. But there's a line and…" Tony trailed off, unsure of how to finish.
"You think I crossed the line? Who says you get to draw the line, DiNozzo?"
Gibbs' voice was raising and Tony knew it wasn't going to end well.
"I say I get to, Jethro. And I think you crossed it."
Tony stood up and looked longingly around the place he called home. Then he left.
