New Layout.... :-)

I made a new layout for myself tonight instead of writing... The art bunny trumped the plot bunny.

:-)


ETA: And now I can have more than one banner swap out on each page load! Hee! So far, I have NCIS, BtVS and Supernatural. I plan to add a Terminator one and some more NCIS banners. :-)

    I stared at his eyes for many, many moments after I put his picture there. I *almost* left him by himself just to stare at his eyes....
    
    But then he got lonely without Gibbs and a little dash of Abby. :-)

      It'll definitely make reading fic tons easier (the white on black was hard on my eyes), and I'll get to see your style instead of having to view it with my LJ default.

        I've heard a few that have trouble with the white on black and that's kind of what got me thinking to switch it... inverting white and black doesn't bother me much. It's when you start going into other colors on color that plays with my eyes.
        
        But this will definitely make it easier to read and we can all stare at Tony's eyes. :-)

    I usually take an existing layout so I don't have to start from scratch and then modify the header and colors to fit what I want.... Although it does help that I'm a graphic/web designer in real life. ;-)

    I'm thinking of going for the same headers on DW, LJ and my site. I'm kinda anal when it comes to branding.... And I guess I'm branding my fanfiction and stuff... so....

    I'm going to toy with trying to get a rotating thing going where I have a few different banners and it randomly selects them, but I'll have to see if I can hack the code to do that.

        I've got 3 banners now, although, I think the NCIS one is the best. :-)

  This is awesome! I am very impressed, but of course I know little about computers so it is easy to impress me. However, it seems as though this would have been hard to do. AWESOME JOB!

    The layout change wasn't that hard... I cheat and use a pre-made one. The hard part is making custom CSS to make the pre-made one look the way I want it to. And then the banner making, which is fun in Photoshop. I even made my own logo in Illustrator this time around instead of an existing font.

    I figured out how to make it randomly select from a folder of banners. *rubs hands together*
    
    As of now, I have NCIS, Supernatural, Buffy and Terminator: tSCC and I'm plotting more!
