    Dreamwidth is another journal site similar to Livejournal that was created and is in open beta where people can join via invites and start using the site.

    It is taking a lot of LJ things and building on them and making more and better features like posting to DW and being able to crosspost to other journals like LJ and Insanejournal for example.
